Math skill: Order of Operations with Parentheses (5.OA.A.1)
How the beat teaches it: Every slot has an expression with parentheses — solve inside the parentheses first, then finish the rest, and build the final answer as a drum beat with that many notes in all. Mix in eighth notes and triplets to fit them — most of these are too big for a row of plain quarter notes.
