How the beat teaches it: Every slot gives f(x)=2x on [0,b] split into b unit-width rectangles — the right-endpoint Riemann sum adds up f at each rectangle's right edge: 2(1)+2(2)+...+2(b). Build that many notes anywhere in the kit.
