Math skill: Solve a Quadratic with Complex Roots (N-CN.C.7)
How the beat teaches it: Every slot is a quadratic whose discriminant is negative — use the quadratic formula anyway, writing the negative square root as an imaginary number. Build the roots' real part on the high tom and the imaginary coefficient on the rimshot.
